Guys, please can someone help.
Is there any significant difference in E5 and E8 in terms of LOUDNESS? So it's 102db and 105db peak SPL. Unfortunately in my country there's no way I can hear them, so it's a blind buy, and E8-s are much-much expensive here. |
Late to the party...
3db is about the minimum db that the average human ear can perceive. A 100W guitar amp is 3db or so louder than a 50W amp, for example, and both are crushingly, ear-destroyingly loud. Basically, there won't be a huge difference in volume until you get into the lower frequencies that the E5 can't handle as well. |
1dB is what I've always considered the difference a human ear can perceive. 3dB is actually VERY noticeable. Just my opinion...
