I am trying to setup a home recording studio. I have already been through HELL. Mainly because I don't know what I am doing. First I purchased a Studiolive AR12 only to find out that all of the channels are post PreAmp. In other words none of the faders or any EQ have any effect on the signal going to Studio One soft ware.

Is this the same with the StudioLive 16.0.2?

Thanks

Recording can be "pre" or "post" Fat Channel, but will always be "prefade", which means that you can't track the moves of single faders. If you record Main L/R, the fader moves will be recorded. This is the same for all PreSonus mixers and this makes sense, because the purpose of recording is "collecting" material which afterwards will be mixed in a DAW like Studio One.
