I've read these two articles...
https://support.presonus.com/hc/en-us/a ... ve-16-0-2- http://answers.presonus.com/1708/other- ... ive-mixers Question I have is when it speaks of the fact that the daisy chained interface cannot be mixed on the mixer, is for recording only...I understand if I wanted to use the inputs in a live situation on the additional unit daisy chained off of the mixer I would have to run a pair of it's outputs into a free pair of the mixer...but my question is about where it talks about adjusting the levels. It says you must use a computer to adjust the levels. So basically if a computer is not attached to the mixer then what happens to signals run in to the additional interface? Do they just stop working? I couldn't set the levels with a computer and then detach the computer and keep the signal path intact from the Firestudio to the StudioLive mixer could I? Just wondering if there's any way to at least send the stereo submix out of the daisy chained interface into the mixer w/o the computer involved once it's setup. I'm guessing it just stops entirely. Thanks. |
