Hello
I haven't used my SL for over a year for recording, just live performances. So, we (band) will be recording some tunes and I haven't updated firmware on my SL in about two years or so, My sig shows my current stuff. Please describe how and what I need to do to update the firmware or whatever needs doing to get to reliable functionality. Posting links to download or tutorials etc. would be great also, as I haven't been on the forums or Presonus site in about two years. Thank you very much |

This is the download page for the SL 16.4.2. As you are using a "legacy" board, you need a special version of Universal Control, which is v1.7.6. On the download page, select "macOS 10.12.6" and click "Show/Hide all versions..." Now you see the "latest & greatest" for UC/VSL and Capture. As far as I know "Firmware 1.50a" and "Build 190" still are correct. You can check this in your PreSonus account. Please note that UC 2.x will NOT WORK with legacy boards. It might be that you need to do a lot of re-installation. There are several documents about it in the Knowledge Base (https://support.presonus.com/hc/en-us/sections/201961363-StudioLive-Mixer-Series). Don't start too late to update and check your equipment. After the installations you have made already there might be quite some work waiting for you. Good luck!
