Does anyone have a step-by-step tutorial on how to set up Windows 10 to use an input from the mixer (say an Aux Output) for my streaming audio (I use OBS)? I've seen the instructions in the Library software reference manual but (for me, anyway), they seem cursory (3.1.1 in the document I have)

I'd also like to send the audio output from the PC to the mixer for sound when I'm playing videos.

I've attempted to use the WDM setup in UC but I don't seem to receive anything on the PC. Likewise, if I "map" the PC output and select the Firewire input for the mapped channel

I'm currently using the analog sound card for this but I'm hoping for a higher quality experience using a direct digital interface.

Thanks.

There is no tutorial, but a few answers which might be helpful. Have a look here:

http://answers.presonus.com/questions/studiolive-mixers/classic-mixers

and especially the questions:

Studiolive 16.4.2 ASIO driver problems in Windows 10?
windows audio output to studio live setup?
Legacy StudioLive 16.4.2 No Audio after PC rebuild

Be aware of the last updates of Universal Control (UC 1.7.5.5 for PC) and the need for uninstalls and new installs. You find more information on this page (the other legacy mixers also have their download pages): https://www.presonus.com/support/downloads/StudioLive-16.0.2. There are several threads about the latest update of UC, like this one: http://answers.presonus.com/20074/updated-universal-control-permissions-monitor-channels-devices.

Hope this helps.
