Hi Guys.
I just re-formated and fully rebuilt my studio PC. I found the following issue. Installing Universal Control v1.7.4 - PC and connecting SL to the PC, turning it on, I can hear the sound in windows, that something is plugged in and StudioLive is listed in the device list. However... The Universal Control icon still remains RED . So, after trying different cables, different FireWire cards, I then tried the older driver, v1.7.2, and found that everything now works like it should . I also tried this same scenario on another PC and found the same issue occurring. Why is this happening? I tried looking for a release note or anything and found nothing. Prior to my formatting and re-build everything worked flawlessly with same PC and StudioLive. But I cannot remember which driver was used. -Studiolive 16.0.2 Firmware: 0.98f Build 219. - Windows 10 64. |
I have similar issue after upgrading to a Dell w / i7 with entirely the same setup I used in Win 10 64 Pro previously.
Lost connectivity to 16.4.2 Classic after last Win 10 64 Pro update in April. UC v1.7.4 will not even install, let alone run anymore. Lost a month's work trying to solve this! |
