Anyone else have an issue with channels all of a sudden not working? I have my channel 8 just went out, I tried to change out wires and noticed that when I crank the preamp I get a slight signal but its all distorted and unusable. Do I need to send the board out for repair its only 6months old.

Double check routing to make sure your audio isn't getting sent somewhere unexpected (or nowhere at all) and look at the fat channel settings, especially in the gates/compression area. If everything looks right, open a service ticket with Presonus and they will help you troubleshoot the issue to see if it can be rectified without shipping. If there is no other option, yes... a trip home to Presonus may be needed.

Ya I can't believe this either but my Studiolive RM16AI channels 1,3 & 5 aren't working either-absolutely no signal when I tracked our drums this past week. So did a bunch of sound checking & swapping cables & mics & channel 5 all of sudden started working but channels 1 & 3 are still not working:(. I just can't trust channel 5 even tho it just started working. This board has been in my studio the whole time since last March & so I'm pretty sure I received it broken like this from Presonus. I literally hadn't had a chance to record stuff until this month even tho it's been in my studio. I'm really disappointed but whatekse can I do but try to fix it & move forward. I got a ticket setup just waiting to hear from them. Hoping they'll just send me a new board!

Did you try a factory reset?

greenhornet-1 wroteHi Steve, If you were reffering to my problems, Thanks. I'll try that. Yup. Last summer I had an issue where sometimes I would have an AUX just simply not output any sound, the meter was moving but no sound from the XLR jack. Next gig it might work, but another AUX would not be working, totally random, it might work fine at sound check then at show time no sound in one of the monitors. Well, I did a full factory reset on the RM32 and I've not had the problem again. This is the one were you pull the option card out and update from USB drive and it wipes all the scenes and everything out of the mixer and zero's it out. But my problem went away so it was quite worth it. Steve
