Hi pls help me my pc not have firewire 800 I put in my pci card 400 w adapter no find my mixer my pc working good whit6h my old 1602 thx Carlo

There are two things you want to check:
1. The AI mixers and the 16.0.2 are two different platforms with their own Universal Control packages. You have to install both. 2. You cannot use adapters to go from FW400 to FW800. You have to use a bilingual FW400 to FW800 cable to connect your 16.4.2AI to a FW400 PCI card. Note: "no driver" = no working connection between computer and mixer. "unlinked" = no two mixers connected together. |

Run the uninstaller for UC 2.1, which will remove all traces. Then reinstall 2.1, which is the driver for the 1642 AI mixer. Make sure that the firmware for the 1642 AI is current version also. Then hook the 1642 AI and make sure the connection works.
If the 1642 connection is ok, now you want to install UC version 1.74, which is the driver package for the 1602. Also make sure that the firmware on the 1602 is a match for UC 1.74. Connect and verify the 1602 is working correctly. If your equipment is registered, you can get all the correct software and firmware for each product in your my.presonus account |

Although it may seem a bit confusing, Matt is 100% correct for your setup. You must follow his directions in the order given to co-install the two different drivers to run your AI and 16.0.2.
