Which iPad works best with the AI? Looking at iPad's, there are several different models available with different processors (A6/A7, motion or quadcore) in either 16Gb or 32Gb. I have never messed with iPad's so I know very little about them and any info would be appreciated.

You don't need 32GB for mixing. You would only need that for large amounts of other app data.
As far as the model, here are the tech specs for SL-remote AI: Apple iPad® 2, 3, or 4 running iOS 5.1.1 or higher

A mini has a smaller screen, so its either going to be more scrolling or smaller type. |
So just opening a song with no change puts it ion top?
