Can't figure this out. Channel one, when selected, always flashes, the blue select light. No other select button or ,load, paste, copy, button flashes. No other channel select button flashes when selected. Only channel one when I select it. How do I get it to stop flashing or what does that mean?

Are the copy, past, load buttons disengaged? The only time that I have seen select buttons flash is during copy/pate source/destination selection.

Figured it out. In uc surface, channel 1 settings, is an option for "key source input". Not sure what that does, it was set to channel 1, set it to off and the blinking went away. Thanks

tracymckinney wrotean option for "key source input". Not sure what that does,

It allows you to set the control signal for your compressor to a channel other than the current one.
eg, the compressor on the bass guitar could be "driven" by the kick drum,

What is the best way to disable so the select don't blink? I'm hoping I can do this with out hooking up my SurfacePro to disable. I do remember using the SurfacePro with Sounds on channel 1. I won't normally use the SurfacePro; for this is for a church.

The SL 32.4.2.AI and 24.4.2.AI have a button for the sidechain function, but the 16.4.2.Ai not. Have a look at your "StudioLive AI-Series Owner's Manual" and its section "Sidechains" (used to be section 4.1.4). A single channel blinking indicates its being sidechained to the channel you have selected. I hope this answers your question. Otherwise read the posts above and check the manual.
