I have a Studio 1824c and was looking into ADAT expansion. I'm unclear what Presonus options there were that replaced the Digimax D8, etc. Perhaps the intent was just to stack multip 1824c or 1818's, etc?

Yup! The DP88. A fabulous unit with io galore. I love mine.

The Digimax DP88 is now listed as discontinued so there is no currently available Presonus ADAT expansion unit available for any of their products. This seems a massive oversight when so many of the interfaces boasting 26 ins and 26 or 32 outs rely entirely on ADAT expansion. The only unit that had physical ins and outs, the Quantum 4848, has also been discontinued...I guess they want us to buy Behringer or Focusrite preamps, which by all accounts are pretty good.
I'm hoping Presonus has some new interfaces in the works that have 26 or 32 physical ins and outs (as I've recently taken to hybrid mixing and need to send and receive at least 24 channels to do a decent analogue mix) but there is no information available as to up coming products being developed.
Anyone out there know of any new products due for imminent release?

So I know this doesn’t help but I bought a Ferrofish Pulse 16 and it is amazing. Clocking to it is wild; it’s like a blanket has been pulled off my monitors. I cannot recommend it enough.
