Have been using a Studio 192 purchased the Q HD8.
Having problems getting used to NOT having HP show up in my output of studio one. It feels like I am losing a lot of features. It is almost not connecting to Studio One properly. I have everything up dated(firmware, driver, S1). Is the work flow supposed to be the same? I feel that firmware or drivers aren’t up to speed. It feels like I have go back out to UC to adjust HPs, instead of sticking inside of S1. The Studio 192 could have a monitor mix with FX and never had anyone say they hear a delay when singing. Also really miss the mic talk back feature. Simple little item but with a live and control room it is annoying that it isn’t kept. I could hook up a monitor controller as the work around. How does the new 32 bit floating mesh with outboard ADAT connections? I fear that once you send 24 bit 44.1 signal into the unit, what does it do? Right now I am considering returning. |
Please make a support ticket. These devices have been pretty thoroughly tested with the new UC - which I hope you have updated to, and also updates the FW from factory to the latest for the device.
