Hi,
Thank you for answering me, but I had already read the recommendations for the installation of studio one 6.6.
But the ubuntu 23.10 version is soon coming to the end of support and therefore will be obsolete. Hence my question of whether it will be possible to install studio one on the next ubuntu 24.04. If someone knows the answer!?
Thanks

Studio One 6.6.*1* (released today) requires Ubuntu 24.04 LTS.

Due to a Mutter bug, it's recommended to run KDE instead of Gnome.

Happy testing!

I cannot install Studio One 6.6.1 on Ubuntu 24.04 (Ubuntu Studio 24.04)

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
studioone6 : Depends: libicu72 (>= 72.1~rc-1~) but it is not installable
Depends: libunistring2 (>= 0.9.7) but it is not installable
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

Please advise? Seems like it is still expecting Ubuntu 23.10 libraries?

Thank you for confirming. I thought it might be something specific to my install so I re-installed the OS from scratch, but still have same issue.

Ahhh....I think I figured it out. Presonus hasn't yet actually updated the downloaded .deb file to be 6.6.1

I had an old 6.6.0 studioone.deb file laying around and it also has the same 37824d41645bfe3bd326ceacb7456085 hash

One thing that would help is if they included version numbers in the filename. It should be "Studio One 6.6.1-x86_64.deb". Would making troubleshooting easier....

That is also my impression. The file that was downloaded is version 6.6.09xxx or something similar! So why they say Studio One 6.6.*1* (released today) requires Ubuntu 24.04 LTS is a mystery? They may have forgotten to upload it?

Yes, I'm assuming they haven't actually updated the file on the server yet? Can anyone from Presonus check? @julianwolff3?
