I have created a simple score- I’m a beginner!
To help me play, I’ve added finger positions. When exporting to musicxml format, the finger positions are incorrect.
Here’s an example.
Select fingering menu, select the finger number you want, select a note on the bass staff. The finger number is correctly shown against the note on the bass staff.
Export the file as musicxml. Open the musicxml file in a text editor and see that the <fingering> tag is attached to the corresponding note in the treble staff.
Sometimes it does it correctly. I enter them exactly the same way.
I’ve attached three screenshots, one of the score, and two of the xml - one correct, the other incorrect.
