Hello,
I would like to be able to use a half dim7 chord / m7b5 but it seemingly isn’t possible within the realms of Notion’s chord labelling capacity. Am I doing it wrong or is it not possible? Thanks in advance. |
Yup, totally unacceptable! I mean how can you even called it a chord library without that chord in it.
I've had this app since it started- what 10 years ago(?) and I paid the extra $15 to get the extra features. And now I can't transfer any of my files ONLY print. Again, I can't transport them anywhere (error messages...) and forget "transmit" too its NOT working at all!!! .. it won't save to theiCloud. And Worst of all Steinberg (Presonus) is horrible about getting back to you with problems. It's Ridiculous! This app could be so much more if they would address relatively simple issues. Why I keeping hoping for more...bc I so invested but after all this time. Geez, yet I'm still waiting. SUCKS! |
Hi,
Thank you for your feature request. You can write diminshed and half diminished chords. Instead m7b5, you can write the enharmonic of it which is "ø7", as you know. The fully diminished seventh can be indicated as dim7 or with the ° symbol. A half-diminished seventh chord is a diminished triad with a minor seventh added to the chord and can be indicated with the ø symbol. In most sheet music books, the notation Cdim or Co denotes a diminished seventh chord with root C; but it may also happen, mostly in modern jazz books and some music theory literature, that Cdim or Co denotes a diminished triad. Thank you ! Best
