Is there a way to create own presets?
For example a preset for a certain Instrument / Tuning or a complete Preset for a an empty score with own Settings and an own selection of the instruments? I can´t find a button to save anything. This would save sooooo much time. Otherwise you are forced to redo all the steps every time. Change a tuning....summon all the desired instruments and so on and so on. But perhaps I just dont see it?

So I found the export button which gives the option to ssave a document as a preset. Nice. But if I hit "export" nothing happens., I tried it on a a brand new Lenovo Tablet and on a Samsung Smartphone. Same Result. Nothing happens. Do I miss something?

The new template you just created will be available from the list of templates in the New document dialog, next time you create a new document.

Well it does not. I hit export. Nothing happens. I make a new document and it is not shown as a new template. Mh but when it is working everywhere else and nobody else has this issue I try to figure it out.

Same problem here. I own the full paid version in Android in a Lenovo M10 Plus with Android 12. I can't export my own templates because the 'export' button does literally NOTHING and I don't want to have to configure the entire orchestra each time I start a new composition. Fix it soon, you can't waste an excellent app just because this kind of bugs.

Same here. When choosing template, export does nothing. Tapping export has no reaction. The dialog shown below doesn't go away. I can only cancel.

Hi.

When you go to Export Score > Save As Template and click the Export, Notion Mobile saves this template automatically to its template folder.

Next time when you try to open a new project, you would see the new template that you have created on template list. I have just tested and it works.

No it doesn't.

The Export button does not engage on the template dialog - no matter how many times it is tapped (see above screen shot with circled Export). When the Export Button is tapped, the Dialog Box does not go away - NOTHING happens. There is no activation of any kind of function. You can only leave the dialog box by tapping Cancel or tapping outside of the dialog.

Upon exiting, there is no new template in the list. It does not work or there is some element missing.

3 people have reported the exact same symptom so there is a disconnect.

What is the location and name of the template folder? Searching through the directories, there is no template folder. Does a template folder have to be created in a certain location in order for user templates to work?

Looks like you are using Mac - this is Android

In Android 11 and next versions, you are not able to access into Android folders (data, obb...) because there were some changes in permissions. This is why we can't see the templates folder in Android 11 or later.

Hi,

I had suspected perhaps it was a permissions issue so I made sure Notion Mobile had access to Files and Media. It made no difference though. I also set hidden folders to visible and searched the default .\...notion mobile directory and only found the scores I had created. no templates folder and no templates.

So perhaps the APP isn't using the correct API calls to write the template file to a proper location?

I wish the developers fix it soon. This shouldn't be so difficult to be fixed because we, the users, are reporting the bugs and working as testers. And this is an important problem which is doing to me to refuse using the app for working with it and forcing me to use Finale with the PC instead.

Hello.

I have Android 8.1.0.

I have the same problem too. I can't create any template because when I try to save it, the export button doesn't do anything.

You said you would fix it with version 3.1 but you are already on 3.1.2 and still haven't fixed it.

I like NOTION MOBILE a lot, but please fix it.
