Hello forum
I just got my revelator io24 and I am currently struggling with it. When I connect it to my windows PC ([email protected], win 10 pro, 16GB RAM) it immediately slows the PC down. Task manager says CPU is below 20%, RAM at 25%. So no problem here. If I try to record in studio one its almost impossible to work with it. Cursor freezes every now and then. If I want to open a menu it takes forever. When I disconnect the revelator everything works fine again. I have installed Universal control and updated the driver of the revelator. Any suggestions? Hello Trucky,
thanks for the sweetwater-link. In it I found the solution to my problem: USB Power was in a kind of energy-optimized state which I turned of and voilà: it works! It seems that the Revelator io24 needs a bit more power than my Focusrite Scarlet which is no surprise when you think about the DSP in it. Hopefully this will still work tomorrow Thanks again!
