Just picked up this io24 and I'm really impressed so far.

One main function I wanted to use is the Output Delay yet I cannot seem to get it to affect anything.

I have my mic (SM7B) plugged into Channel 1.

Device is set to Multi Mode.

Testing recording with simply Quicktime and input set to the main io24 output.

I have Output Delay set to USB1/2 and no matter whether I've set it to 0ms or 500ms, it does not change the delay. I've turned Output Delay completely off as a baseline test.

I've flipped around to the Virtual A and Virtual B outputs, while changing to USB3/4 and USB 5/6 as well.

I must be missing something?

Also note that output delay isn’t an effect like a reverb or slapback effect. Instead it simply delays the entire audio output by up to half a second, to put it in sync with a potentially delayed video link. It can also help to address specific feedback problems. But by itself you won’t hear any difference in the audio no matter the delay time setting.
