Revelator and Revelator Dynamic Microphones

Just got this mic - love it! I've read the manual twice and played with the settings and I'm stumped: can I not monitor what I'm speaking into the mic over the speaker monitors attached to my computer? I have the sound input in Windows set to "Mic 1/2 (Mix A L/R)" (the Revelator) and the sound output set to Speakers/Headphones - all system audio can be heard. Just not what I'm speaking into the mic. None of the faders in any of Revelator's channels (Playback, Virtual A & B) or in all of the mixes (Main, Mix A-C) have any effect.

I know if I set the Windows sound output to "Playback L/R" (Revelator) and connect my headphones to the Revelator, I can happily hear my voice and any effects (dry or wet, with blending).

What am I doing wrong? Or am I stuck monitoring the mix over headphones?

Hi Eric,

Check out my post and another one here in the forums. As I understand it, the mic is your soundcard when used. Only way I've figured out how to get around this is to get a 3.5mm to TRS cable and run it between the mic jack and the line input of your interface.
