I expected to be able to hold down a chord and press a step to enter all notes - was disappointed this didn't work. Would be a great workflow enhancement - also pressing the minus and step/start end to change length should work for a chord as well.

Some good points! One trick for chords, though, is to use step record mode. If you are in Editor mode on SQ, then you are limited to the top row. If you press User AFTER Editor mode, then the pads will change to Keyboard layout and you can step record in real time. Chords work and holding pads will tie over.
