Is anyone unplugging the SQ when it’s not in use? Any reason to do so since it stays semi-powered?

SQ powers down when you shut your computer down. (Unlike ATOM) Its only a matter of whether you want to see it lit up while your computer is on and working either on something else or a Studio One project.
But you can press the Setup button very top right hand corner and select the LEDS switch and reduce them right down (or completely OFF) if the pads are catching your eye while not using or using Studio One for example. SQ is generally is much more friendly that way. I would not be plugging and unplugging all the time. You will wear out either the USB socket on your computer or the socket on the rear panel of SQ (which is smaller and more vulnerable to constant disconnection) A USB power switch plus data connection would be a good alternative.

I've had my SQ plugged into this for it's entire time with me so far, and the power button next to the USB port works great.
