Was working with my relatively new ATOM this afternoon using Groove Agent 5-SE in Cubase.
It was interfacing perfectly whether I was using the Pads to select different Drum Patterns/Gooves/Verses/Choruses or "playing" drum/cymbals/Hi-Hats etc that were assigned to the Atom pads. FWIW, when using the ATOM with Cubase, all the PADS were White ie no pretty colors. Took a break and shut it all down to get some "chores" done.
Back in the Studio Tonite, booted everything back up including same Cubase project.
As always, I had to do some button magic when powering on the Faderport to to put it in Cubase Mode and it went smoothly as always.
However, the ATOM would only allow me to use the pads to play assigned instruments but it would not switch to the Pattern Mode when I changed to that function inside Cubase as it did this afternoon.
So, can anybody tell me what the ATOM/Cubase "Secret Handshake" is to get these two to play nicely with each other? Thanks!
