More robust support for Reaper?

Reaper support is a bit spotty, to say the least. Transport, fader and pan work. Some buttons work, most don't. Track selection is very buggy and unusable.

It's an amazing box, and despite the limitations I'm still getting great use out of it. I just wish some of the other functions on it worked well for those of us in Reaper land.

There's a thread going on the Reaper forum where people are trying to get it to behave better, though little to no success has been found.

What are the odds of Presonus throwing us a bone here and giving us a Reaper mode for this thing that works better? Would be amazing. Thanks!

I doubt that PreSonus are going to get Faderport 8/16 to work more deeply with Reaper. And it will never compete with the deep level of integration it has with Studio One.

The fact is it is really really really designed for Studio One. The fact it works with other DAW's even to the level it does is simply a bonus. Having said that thought they are adding new features and they will become available in future firmware updates. So that does not rule out either that they may add in some extra things for other DAW's you never know.

I get that. Was just trying to express to them that there's interest out there. It still feels like Reaper isn't taken seriously by some devs, despite being a very widely used tool in certain fields (VR audio, game audio, etc.).

I'm happy it works as well as it does, but hopefully it will improve in the future.
