I know the new faderport mk2 works with most daws, but does anyone know if it will work with Cakewalk by Bandlab?
If so, how do I set it up?
I know that Cakewalk isn't the most popular daw but I've been using it for so long now, and I just want to keep on using it.
I just need my new faderport to work

Make sure you are on the latest firmware with the new Faderport. Universal Control 2.9 will check and update it if necessary.

Read this:

The new Faderport goes into other modes differently to FP8/16 I think. Check your manual. Try it in MCU mode and see if it works. You will need to go into Sonar and set it up as a controller as well.
