Hi all.

I have a quantum 2626 that I am using with a patch bay and some outboard gear as hardware inserts.

However, when I set the input in pipeline to anything other than the line returns on the back, I am getting a roughly 12db signal drop.

This has been extensively tested and it is certain that the signal drop is coming from the interface. I even got a replacement unit from presonus and the issue persists. When routing to the line returns the test signal is exactly the same volume in and out (routed through various hardware in hard bypass mode), however when routed to the inputs on the front I am getting the level drop.

Does anyone know why/how to solve this? Do I actually have to add gain from the preamps? That would be pretty annoying having to add extra gain just to bring signals back up to line level.

Presonus support have been fairly unhelpful so far so if anyone has run into this before I'd be extremely appreciative!
