Quantum 2626, noisy interface/preamp knobs

Quantum 2626, i7, 32gb ram, Win 10, Studio One 5 (updated).

The interface preamp pots/knobs are very scratchy and noisy. Is this common? If not, what could I be doing wrong with my setup? Nothing unusual hooked up - all microphones, instruments and TRS to snake. Other than the noise when turning a knob, the unit seems to work fine. Any suggestions appreciated.
Intel I9 (10 core), 3.7 GHZ,
Asus MB with Thunderbolt 3
32 GB RAM ,
Win 10 (64), Studio One (latest with all updates)
Presonsus Quantum 2626
Behringer ADAT interface
Old Faderport

Open a support ticket. That isn't normal behavior
