I recently got a Neve 5057 16:2 summing mixer.
I have the Q2626 which has 8 outputs and an ART TubeOpto 8 which offers 8 ADAT channels In and Out - the TubeOpto converts the ADAT out to analog. The routing is doing my head in. I was thinking of sending the 16 channels out to the Neve... that's straightforward. But how do I get the Neve to return the stereo sum back into my Q2626 and route it to the Main Out to monitor??? How do I unlink Channel 1 & 2 Out from the Main Out L & R? Or am I approaching this the wrong way? Any suggestions would be sincerely welcomed. Thanks, Konrad |
If you do not want to get a second ADAT-device you only have the SPDIF-Outputs left. Otherwise you‘re short by 2 outputs. So you need to look for a monitor-controller that has SPDIF inputs.
