Hey there
I could install the latest version of Universal Control on my Macbook but the installation of firmware 1.3-95 takes a lifetime and never gets to the end. The Quantum 2626 is connected as it is recognized by Universal Control which then asks me to perform firmware update. Anyone seen this issue?

I am having a very similar problem with my quantum.
Asks to do firmware update but takes ages. When I close universal control it says it was successful but then does not recognise the quantum when I re open it. Eventually it asks to do firmware update again and same issue occurs. Very frustrating and I’ll be interested to know if you found a fix?

Did the update not work at all or is it just always asking to update again? If it is the latter: Have you 'restarted' (a.k.a. power cycled) the Quantum after the update?

Same here I got caught in an endless loop of installing and uninstalling UC and now firmware won't install. Flashing blue light on unit. Very frustrating this is hours now and can't do what I want to do which is record music.

Did you guys read the message after the update? you have to unplug the Quantum from Power AND Thunderbolt, for at least 10 full seconds, before the update actually applies itself to the internal memory.

And since most Windows systems with TB have broken hot plug, you'll have to reboot after reconnecting.
