EDIT: Changed title to make it easier for people troubleshooting to find the thread.
Can any fellow Quantum Mac users help out with a very quick test on an issue I’m troubleshooting? So far Tech Support is completely stumped. - install the latest Firefox (77.0.1) - use the Quantum as your interface - open universal control - and tell me if the audio in this YouTube video plays on outputs 1/2 or 3/4: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ckvDo2JHB7o On my system this video (and many others all across different sites on the internet) plays on Output 3 in mono. Anyone else?

In case anyone stumbles on this issue, it's still a problem in the latest UC. It makes it hard to load up a quick video for reference if you use Firefox.
So far Support's asked me to format my hard drive and reinstall macOS, neither of which fixed it. |
Nope. I can set my outputs in Audio MIDI Setup and that's the ones it plays from. Sounds like a MacOS issue more than a Quantum Issue.
