Hello I have an issue with my Quantum 2

When I switch between apps (e.g Logic and Safari) the audio either starts to get mangled (sounds like a sample rate issue) or it stops altogether and I have to restart the driver within Logic audio pref.

This is not a consistent behaviour, sometimes I get lucky sometimes not...not the stablest of drivers...

Also I was expecting something better on the latency side

Anyone experienced similar problems?

I'm on Sierra 10.12.6 and have the latest drivers an UC

I thought when using a Mac you are using apple core audio not presonus asio driver. Also I you sure you downloaded Universal Control for macOS 10.12.6 Sierra?

My system
Intel Core i9-10900K Processor
Noctua NH-U12A CPU cooler
Gigabyte Z490 VISION D
Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB SSD
Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200MHz 64GB
MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Gaming X Trio 12G
StarTech Thunderbolt Cable 2M (TBOLTMM2MW)
StarTech Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter (TBT3TBTADAP)
Neumann TLM 102 microphone
Presonus Quantum
Windows 10, Ableton 11, Cubase 10

Yes, I have downloaded the latest UC...issues still there, if I run audio from 2 apps at the same time eventually I will get garbled audio and driver failure (meaning I have to reload it inside apps like Logic).

This is on a freshly installed system with only Apple apps running without 3rd party plug ins etc.

Doesn't happen with the internal soundcard or my RME...

This happens to me very infrequently on Mac OS X, and it has ever since I got my Quantum. It sounds similar. viewtopic.php?f=359&t=32538

I guess i'll reopen the ticket since there's finally someone with a similar sounding issue. Maybe if a few people have it they'll figure it out.

Mac OS X Catalina 10.15.7
Mac Pro 6.1
3 GHz 8-Core Intel Xeon E5
32 GB 1066 MHz DDR3
Dual AMD FirePro D500 3072 MB
Quantum 2
