Hello, I'm wanting to see what I'm doing wrong with connecting my Quantum to my Digimax 8 interface to expand to 16 total channels. I have a BNC cable connecting from the out of the Quantum to the In on the Digimax 8 and then have the Digimax 8 set in Ext mode (yellow light at 48kz).
I also have the ADAT cable connected from the Out 7-24 on the Quantum 48z to the ADAT in on the Digimax 8. My Logic project is open at 48kz too. And I have tracks added 1-8 are from the Quantum and they all work. But 9-12 are from the Digimax, with phantom power on, but aren't bringing in any signal. I have attached two screenshots to see my UC Console view. In the ADAT tab, nothing is being highlighted or anything so I can't tell if it's connected right or not. Also I'm not seeing the Digimax 8 under my UC Console as a connected hardware piece. Please advise as I don't know if I'm missing something here or if I have internal Logic settings incorrect or not. I'm a newb to connecting interfaces so this is puzzling to me, any help would be awesome!!

FreddyR1978 wroteI'm guessing you never got the D8 to work? I've tried everything but my 26x32 is just not reading it. Supposedly the D88 is compatible, but I can't find one anywhere. Seems like Presonus discontinued a lit of hardware and most of it doesn't talk to their new stuff. I’ve used a Digimax 96k, an FS, and a D8 at various places with my 26x32 over ADAT and never missed a beat. Yesterday it was hooked up to two Alesis Ai-3 (mid 90s) and currently it’s hooked up to a brand new Ferrofish Pulse 16. What’s your setup? The only thing I’ve ever had a problem connecting to was a Frontier Tango as it refused to lock to my clock.
