Yes rguitar78, I think it will work more easyly than my system. All pieces are from ASUS and are declared as Thunderbolt 2 components.

I'm using a Gigabyte GA-Z170 Gaming Mobo. It has a Thunderbolt 3 port on board, so I had to buy an Thunderbolt 2 adapter. I tried these ones:
Apple 2663283 Thunderbolt-Adapter => no
STARTECH TBT3TBTADAP Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt Adapter => yes
AKiTiO T3T, Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt (2) => yes

In my case the Apple adapter didn't work. I bought the AKiTiO T3T because of the lower price.

Windows 11, Intel I5-12600K, Gigabyte Z690 GAMING DDR4, 32 GB RAM, Presonus R65, ESP 400 Series Telecaster, Ibanez LR 750, Fender Precision Bass, AMS Neve 88M, Fireface 400, SSL UF-8, Studio One 6.5 Pro, EZ Drummer 3, Melodyne Studio, VocAlign Project 5

I got the card and it works with ThunderBolt HDDs. Next step is to pony up for the Quantum and see if the limited bandwidth (TB2 @10Gb/s with my mobo and add-in card setup) causes issues. In theory I should be able to run two Quantums fully loaded with DP-88s before I saturate the bus since specs call for up to 4 chained together using standard 20Gb/s TB2.

Received my Quantum yesterday, got it all hooked up and tested with Studio One/BIAS/Guitar Rig and so far everything is working flawlessly. Others with my mobo should be confident support is here.

Super old thread, but wanted to thanks rguitar78 for his report. I built my Asus computer 6 years ago (same exact mobo as yours) and added the EX2 card but never got around to using the TB. I wish I found gjis thread years ago. I'd be rocking my Quantum already. Still using Audient USB to this day!
