Not all interfaces do - some do but many don't - I think it will be possible to create your own loop back feature from an output (like windows soundcard) and use a third party loop back software.

This may be free or not - Its something I'll look into when its needed - :D

Ive decides that loopback with the Quantum is painfully tricky...and I even have a Loopback App !

I was able to do Loopback via the SPIDF out going to my Antelope Pure 2 and then the SPIDF out from the Pure 2 back into the Quantum 2626 again.
It would be lovely to have it built-in, but it did work, and is still a digital signal.
Obviously, you need a second device with SPIDF input and output to do this routing configuration.

Hello Mr. Lindgren. :) Fancy seeing you here.

LoopBack can be done with 3rd party Software as well. Or just send an output to one of your Inputs..

PC #1: Asus Prime Z690-P, i5-12600k 10-core (6+4), 32GB DDR4 3200 MHz, RTX 3060 12GB, ADATA XPG 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD, 2 x 1TB WD Black HDD

PC #2: ASUS X299 Prime Deluxe II, i7-7820X 8c/16t, 16GB 2666 MHz DDR4, GTX 1060 3GB, Samsung 970 EVO NVMe M.2 SSD (Win10 Pro), Samsung 860 EVO SATA SSD (Win11 Pro), OWC Aura 512GB NVMe M.2, 2 x 1TB HDD

Soundflower is/was the go-to tool, when you're still on Mac. You can aggregate its 2x2-channel device with your Quantum interface to add loopback functionality.

How would I go about doing this?

You're sending your audio through the 2626 spdif ouput into another interfaces spdif input, them back into the spdif input of the 2626?

I have a docking station that has a spdif output. I was trying to figure out whether I could just get a cable and send the audio out of the docking station, then feed it back into spdif input of the 2626.
