Hi, I'm fairly new to home recording.
I have a Studio 24c and Studio One 5.5 Pro. I have my guitar plugged into input one and I'm getting a strong input signal even when the input gain control is turned to minimum. Is this normal? Hi and welcome to this forum
 The gain setting in this case is in dB. 0dB = no attenuation/amplification. You get the minimum input amplifier gain you can set, which in your case is plenty enough for your guitar |

Inputs 1 & 2 accept Instrument or Line level input with the 1/4" connector. Signals looks normal to me for passive humbucker with volume on 10. I normally set the Mix knob all the way to the left or at the noon position.
