Does not Studio 68c have a mixer?

Hello,
I've just bought a new 68c interface.
First of all, I've installed Universal Control and had to update its firmware from factory 2.22 to 2.21, 'cause it wouldn't let me change the sample rate or the buffer etc. without updating the firmware first.
Just like mentioned in this thread:
https://forums.presonus.com/viewtopic.php?t=40338&p=238653

I also Studio 1824 at my studio, and there's a virtual mixer accessed via Universal Control by clicking a sound interface picture.
Now, after the update, my Studio 68c UC looks like this:

But nothing happens when I click the sound interface picture.

Is that a normal behavior for this model?

I've also noticed that the serial number showing by Universal Control differs from the one at the bottom of the interface: it contains numbers only and is of a different length as well.

Ok, so I've got that 68c does not have a software mixer within Universal Control:

Which is disappointing for sure.

What may be done to monitor my 3-4 Inputs constantly in stereo?
There's a MON button, but give mono monitoring only. :(
Running a DAW isn't an option as well, as it requires a bunch of additional steps to be done.

That’s the nature of the beast: The 68c is a simple audio interface designed to be connected to a computer running multi input/output audio software. That software can be DAW software like Studio One or maybe a more simple tool like a DJ app.

When I was deciding between the 68c and the 1810c, I didn't notice that the 68c had no software mixer in Universal Control. I wound up purchasing the 1810c to replace my aging 44VSL. Glad I did.
