I use a Studio 6|8 in Ableton Live 11.
I can´t get an output signal over SPDIF to the amplifier with ASIO. Using MME/DirectX driver it works, but with higher latency.
There is no posiibility to setup anything regarding SPDIF in the "universal control" software.

Does anyone have an idea how to solve the problem?

Make sure you're using the correct S/PDIF cable. There are two, and come with little labels marked "in" and "out".

On top of that, you will have to route an output within Ableton. I use S1, not Ableton, so not sure how this works. But in Studio One you go to Song -> Audio Output Setup and there you can create a stereo output and point it to the S/PDIF of the interface.

I have attached an image showing those settings and you can see I've had to hit "Add (Stereo)" to add a new output, then clicked on the appropriate part of the grid to assign it to the S/PDIF outputs.

Something like that should be available in Ableton too.
