Hello
Feeling dumb here but... I can't work out how to monitor with only an effected DAW signal when plugging a sound source into front panel input 1. That is, without the raw, live, direct input of whatever I'm attempting to record. My understanding is that the Mixer dial of the 24c, turned hard-right, should be the DAW signal only... while hard-left should output the direct/raw signal only. What am I missing? Previous AKAI EIE Pro interface had a dial that did precisely this, but something's different here and I don't get it...

you are 100% correct, the dial when turned far-right, will give you only your playback audio. You may want to check in Ableton that monitoring on the channel is set to Auto or In and that the track is armed.

I have the same issue but what do you call the mixer dial? the main knob of the 1824c? or it's command i find in the DAW? |
