When I record electric guitars, I record directly into the PreSonus Interface into my DAW and use BIAS FX for my amp and pedal simulation. It works great under low gain situations. But under high gain (and I play Metal) my DAW picks up very aggressive sounds coming from the Interface even with no inputs connected whatsoever. I *have* selected mono input in my DAW as guitar is a mono instrument. I have attached a video showing the complete problem. I believe the interface to be microphonic as it picks up taps on the box and sends it to the DAW. Note: I have no other microphones or interfaces connected to the computer whatsoever.
