I have the AudioBox USB 96, I bought used.

When I connect my instrument (bass, classical guitar, guitar, [P2 cable]), it emits even with the volume (AUDIOBOX) at 0%. when the value increases to 35%, the instrument's sound is slightly distorted and the CLIP LED flashes. I tried other instruments ...

Example:
AudioBox Volume 0%.
Bass volume 50% and connect to the AudioBox.
In my headphones and the REAPER signal is already coming ....... when the volume of the AudioBox increases to about 40% the signal is distorted (Led Clip flashing.
A Music or video played by the notebook does not distort ...

I'm sure I'm not sending a strong signal to AudioBox ... I think it's an input problem ...
Anyone have any idea what it can be?

It sounds like an input problem to me too. Don't know for sure.
Make sure you have the latest drivers for your system and the audio box.
Don't let then level get into the red.
Turn up your speaker volume instead.

you're right.
I do not leave the Red Led on.
I use the Headphones at 80-90% to have a good signal without CLIP.
I have the drivers updated, however, I will uninstall everything and reinstall ...
