I am brand new and apologize in advance for beginner questions.

I have a new Studio 26. I plugged my Rode NT4 (2 capsules in X/Y configuration) mic in. I have phantom power, the LED lights are responding to sound from the mic, and I can hear the mic's sound monitored thru headphones. I've clicked the red buttons on my 2 tracks (to arm them for recording as I understand it) , but the transport doesn't seem to move when I click the play and record buttons at the bottom of the screen.

I have the Studio One Artist software loaded I open it and create a song. But then see no indication the software is seeing the interface.

I'm sure this must be something simple, but it's my 1st stumbling block.

Any advice ? Thanks in advance.

Well I discovered that I had to set something in Options to a "Windows Device". Obviously I have much to learn.
