I have not been able to get 24c to work with Zoom. It works with OBS, my Logitech Webcam software, and Studio One 4, but when I set the mic setting in Zoom to use Mic/Inst/Line in 1/2 (Studio 24c), I get this message:
"Your microphone is not working. Please check your connection or use a different mic." I have Studio 24c Firmware v1.13. I'm using Windows 10 Home Version 1909 on a Dell Precision Tower 3430, with an Intel Core i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz and 16GB RAM, if that matters. Zoom Settings: Zoom > Audio > Select a Microphone: Mic/Inst/Line in 1/2 (Studio 24c) Windows Settings: Windows Settings > Sound > Input: Mic/Inst/Line in 1/2 (Studio 24c) Windows Settings > Sound > Input > Advanced sound options > App volume and device preferences: Master Volume: 100; Output: Main Out 1/2 (Studio 24c); Input: Mic/Inst/Line in 1/2 (Studio 24c) App: Zoom; Output: Default; Input: Default Any ideas? 24c info seems to be pretty sparse on the web. - FiL |
What version of Universal Control is installed?
As a test, try to confirm if it works or fails with Skype: https://www.skype.com/en/get-skype/down ... r-desktop/

Thanks for your reply.
I have Universal Control version 3.2.1.57677 Win x64 (Built on Apr 9 2020). I installed Skype, and I seem to be having the opposite problem. When I tested the audio, the mic is working through the Studio 24c, but I can't hear the test audio output. Mic is set to "Mic/Line in 1/2 (Studio 24c)" and Speakers are set to "Main Out 1/2 (Studio 24c) both in Windows and in Skype. If I switch the Speakers to "Speakers/Headphone (Realtek(R) Audio) and turn on my speakers, I can hear the test audio. Now I'm thoroughly confused! |

Hi,
I have just purchased the 24c specifically for conference calls on zoom, and live streaming. Whilst researching which brand and interface to buy before purchasing this unit, there were no comments that I came across that mentioned this being an issue. I would very much like to know if this issue has been resolved and what the workaround is. Thank you Rob |
I had the same problem and with the help of PreSonus tech support I fixed it.
All I had to do was update Universal Control and the firmware on Studio 24c: Open Universal Control, click File ----> Check for updates. Then update. When it's finished you restart the computer and open Universal Control and it will ask you to update the firmware. I hope this helped. |
