Strange question I know.... however I was curious if the upcoming AVB and/or Dante Digital Audio Networking cards for the StudioLive Mixers would actually work in a Studio Channel?
Yes - one channel of audio seems like overkill over Cat5 however I would prefer to run a long ethernet cable to the Studio Channel near the mic source vs. running a long microphone cable back to the Studio Channel. Thanks! |

Are you asking about the digital option card? That would be very interesting.
The RM16AI is actually a 32 channel mixer with 16 inputs that will eventually be available over AVB so this would be a neat way to get to those other 16 inputs...
