Guys,
I started my voice-over journey several years ago, but I have finally decided to go full time. I am seeking ways to increase my workflows, so I decided to go the hardware path to address EQ and compression on the front end. I am attempting the amount of time I spend on post-production. Recently, I purchased a Studio Channel Strip, and I am getting accustomed to the settings. However, I was wondering if anyone else has found the secret recipe for this device. Currently, I am using a U87 mic, the Channel Strip, and the Presonus Studio 24c. I am also using Studio One 5 as my DAW. My current settings don't sound bad, but a little flat to my ear. What would you suggest to brighten my recordings? Thank you in advance. Best regards, Erik Reid Reid Speaks |
