Just picked up the 24R and I'm loving it so far! When tracking vocals in the past, I've been using the Warm Audio 1176 and print on the way in. I still love compressing on the way in, and I'm interested to hear your thoughts on using the PreSonus built-in compressor to track (and commit) vocals.

Have you tried the FET compressor?

I tried it with post and was happy with it. Looks like I’m selling my hardware 😃
