My video recordings have an audio latency of about 9 frames? Is that normal? Are their configuration changes that can be made to the Studiolive 32SC to shorten this delay?
Thanks in advance! |
Hi and welcome to this forum
A little latency is to be expected but 9 frames seems a lot, even without you mentioning the frame rate. In fact you didn't mention much at all for us to go on. So what does your rig look like, how is everything connected, how are you recording the audio and video, where are the mics wrt. the source... Adding specs and details will help to find a solution |
9 frames at 60fps is a 150ms delay. The local routing latency (analog input to analog output) for Series III mixers is specified as 1.9ms. So something's not set correctly.
I suggest you do a full mixer reset (power up whilst holding the FX button) which will reset all user settings etc. to factory defaults. Then try again. |
Hold on. Where are you measuring this latency?
