I may be losing my mind... We were going along as normal, and poof! No Bass. I selected the channel, and the subgroup was deselected. It was just me active on the board. Anyone seen this?

I haven't heard of any problems with subgroups, what you describe seems not to be an "issue". But there are many ways to manipulate subgroups and subgroup functions "by chance" and there are differences between the "fixed" subgroups A-D and flex mixes used as subgroups.
