We have a new 64s at our church. A couple weeks ago I download the UC Connect software to my Android phone and and connected to it and got a message that I need to update the firmware on the mixer before the software would work. Yesterday I upgraded the firmware and now my phone doesn't even see the mixer. Same network. Mixer is connected to the wifi router via cable and the phone is connected by wifi. I tried my table also and the same thing.

Most phones don't have the screen area to support UC Surface but plenty of tablets do.
My iPad and Lenovo Tab M10 HD (2nd Gen running Android 11) work great with my SIII 32.
What phone and tablet and versions for for each are you using?

I tried it on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 8S. When I press the sync button it does not find the mixer.

Submit a Support Ticket (see link below).
They should be able to tell if your tablet is supported.

I totally screwed up. I ment to say remote app does not see the mixer when they are on the same network.

Ok this can be closed. I was trying to use Presonus Remote to look at the mixer and not UC Surface. I have UC Surface running on my tablet and controlling the mixers now. Sorry about the misunderstanding on m part.
