Hi! We are setting up our StudioLive 32R for theatrical use and are trying to figure out how to set and recall “cues” that will automatically mute and unmute and set volume levels for each scene in a theatrical show (similar to how a lighting board operates).

Does anyone have experience using the UC in this manner!?

We have read up on mute groups and scenes, but those features aren’t quite the exact match for what we are trying to accomplish.

Thanks in advance for any guidance!

That's what Projects/Scenes are for.

Check out sections 2.2.8 and 9.6.1.- 9.6.6 in the SIII Owners manual for specifics.

Another trick that may help you set up the mixer is routing one microphone input to two mixer channels. That way you can use the (scene) mutes to flip between two completely different channel settings including routing and output mix levels.
