I do see that I have 16 in and 16 out in Studio One 4, but why there's no direct Aux out to send directly the sound to the physical Aux output behind the unit. Or maybe there's another way.

Not currently. I think that is a condition of the mixer, not S1.

To use the mixer for routing, you have to put the signal into the mixer. A mixer input is a S1 output. Then to take the signal all the way out, you need to finish that routing in UC

I totally agree with you. It would be nice to be able to route an output from SI directly to an AUX out of the SLIII. Hopefully this will be added as an option in a future update. It will be much easier using Pipeline to patch external analog gear in S1 verses having to route the signal through the busses. It’s really a hassle as is.

This can be done when the computer has an AVB connection to the mixer. Input patching on the mixer allows you to select AVB streams as the source for aux outputs.
