Studio One 4 Upgrades for Series III owners?

Guys,

Back in the day, had a StudioLive 32.4.2. I believe when v3 of Studio One came out, there was not a need to purchase an upgrade. I am hoping that is the case now. I was hoping that the investment in the expensive hardware would grand a lifetime license... Yes??

Don't confuse update ot upgrade
update = free
upgrade = $149

No no... i very well know the difference. I went from v2 to v3 for free back in the day. THat was not an update. It happened by accident, actually. I deregistered the 32.4.2 and re-registered it under a new email, since it was being transferred... the re-registered account had v3 downloads. No monies exchanged hands.
